I love the seaside. It is an inexhaustible source of inspiration; patterns and shapes everywhere!
From the shorelines of Normandy and Brittany in France with its high tides and beautiful shells, to the coasts of Goeree Overflakkee, Zeeland and the island of Ameland in the Netherlands: a great joy in all sorts of weather.
Much of my work has its roots at the seaside, in one way or another.
